Richard "Rick" Rudy Harwood, Jr., age 74, of Pineville, Louisiana, passed away on September 7, 2025, at Hilltop Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on April 25, 1951, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to the late Richard Harwood, Sr. and Marjorie Bareswell Harwood.
Rick was known for his love of the outdoors and the time he spent hunting. He worked for many years in pest control, where he was dedicated to his craft and enjoyed serving his community.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Leigh Ann White; and his brother, David Harwood.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Martha Harwood; his sons, Richard Harwood III and wife, Tonya, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, and Joseph "Trey" Goudeaux, III of Pineville, Louisiana; his daughters, Marjorie Keating of Newark, New Jersey, and son-in-law Josh White; his brothers, Kenneth Lambert and Robert Harwood, both of Alexandria; his sisters, Mary Harwood of Tioga, and Melba Gauthier of Alexandria.
Rick also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Finn Keating, Brody White, Aliana Harwood, Karis Harwood, Emily Harwood, Joseph "TJ" Goudeaux, IV, Halo Goudeaux, and Logan Sloan.
Rick will be remembered for his warm spirit, devotion to family, and passion for the outdoors. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Richard, please visit our floral store.
