Richard Hemb Obituary
He was born November 18, 1959, in Sheboygan to Donald and Kay (Temme) Hemb. Richard graduated from Howards Grove High School with the Class of 1977; he then went on to graduate from LTC.
On November 7, 1981, he was united in marriage to Vicki DeSombre. Together they raised three children: Stepson Nathan (Sara) Dassow, Kaylee (Joe) Holzwart and Greta (Joe) McDonald.
His family was his pride and joy. Especially his grandchildren, he always went to their sporting events and activities. He enjoyed their cabin up north, woodworking and 4 wheeling. Richard spent his entire career as a dedicated employee at the Piggly Wiggly Distribution Center as the facilities manager. He also served on the Howards Grove School board for 20 years.
Richard is survived by his parents, Donald Hemb and Kay Hemb, loving wife of 40 years, Vicki, children, seven grandchildren that he loved Isabelle and Xander Dassow, Soren, Davyn and Finley Holzwart and Roanan and Layton McDonald. He is further survived by his brother Todd (Carla) Hemb, sister in laws, Tami (Keith) Rooker and Traci (Keith) Hiebing, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents and in laws Kenneth and Shirley DeSombre.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9,2022, at 6:30 PM at Plymouth Alliance Church, 1203 Fairview Dr, Plymouth with Pastor Pete Lillestolen. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the CHURCH.
