Pawtucket – Richard M. Higgins, 62, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Debra M. (Poulin) Higgins. The couple celebrated their thirty-sixth wedding anniversary on September 6, 2022.
Born in Boston, he was a son of the late Richard M., Sr. and Barbara A. (Morrow) Higgins. Rich resided in South Attleboro before moving to Pawtucket thirty-six years ago.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Iran Conflict. Rich had been employed at Stanley Bostitch, East Greenwich for twenty-five years. He was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed fishing, camping and sitting by the fire with family. But most of all, he enjoyed the time spent with his three grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves two devoted daughters, Ashley M. Rogers and her husband, Matthew, and Angelique L. Higgins and her fiancé, Brad Croce; his brother, John Higgins and his wife, Aimee, all of Pawtucket. He was the proud Papa of Oliver, Charlie and Rory Rogers. He also leaves his brother-in-law, Davey Moore of Blackstone, MA; several nieces and nephews, an aunt, uncle and cousins. He was the brother of the late Barbara A. Moore.
VISITATION will begin on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 12 p.m. followed by Services with Military Honors at 2 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. For online condolences please visit: TRIPPFUNERALHOME.com
