He was the loving son of Richard & Anne (Guerin) Hohmann of Newton.
Survived by his sisters Kimberly A. Nadonly of Newton and Debra A. Kolozie of Brighton; his nephew James P. Nadonly of Dorchester; his nieces Jessica A. Nadonly of Newton and Stephanie A. Kolozie of Florida. He also leaves his longtime girlfriend Jennifer G. Stomberg of Newton and his loving dogs Micro & Rudy.
Ricky worked as Electrician. He was a diehard Bruins fan and loved to laugh.
Friends and family will gather in his memory at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 11AM to 12:45PM followed by a short Prayer Service. After prayers, we will proceed to Newton Cemetery to bury his ashes.
At the conclusion of the burial, family and friends are invited to a reception at the American Legion Post 440 on California St in Newton.

I'm so very saddened to learn about Ricks passing. I knew Rick as a child growing up in Newton Corner in the 70's and 80's. I then had the pleasure of meeting him again in a professional capacity a few years back. He was a pleasure to work with. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was bright and engaging. We had a great time reminiscing about "the corner". I will remember him fondly. My condolences to his family and girlfriend.

kim and Deb I am sorry to hear of Ricks passing he is with Mike and many others and you both know it will be one heck of a St Patricks day up there with all the Irish men..

Ricky from "The Lake"...so sorry to hear of your passing my friend. I have nothing but fond memories of you and your sense of humor and infectious laugh. Gone too soon brother...rest easy.

To the Hohmann family, I'm so sad to hear about the passing of Ricky. He was the funniest person I've ever known. He always made me laugh no matter what. He was a good friend to me growing up & he will always be in my heart. R.I.P old friend
