Richard Douglas (Doug) Holland, 74, of Greenville, Texas died on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Greenville. He was born in Muskogee on June 13,1951 to Dick and Ruth (Murray) Holland. He was raised at Hoyt and graduated from Stigler High School. He moved with his family to Greenville and later joined the United States Navy where he served his country aboard the USS Alamo for two years. After his service he was married to Dyan Williams and made their home together. They resided in Tulsa for many years where he was a maintenance tech for Borden Milk Company. After the death of Dyan he returned to Greenville in 2019. Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, collecting Indian artifacts and searching for arrowheads.

He is survived by his stepson, Zach Echols and wife Angela of Wagoner; granddaughter, Ariel; grandson, Dylan; great granddaughter, Karma; three brothers, Kent Holland and wife Sherry of Greenville, Mark Holland and Brett Holland both of Hoyt; one sister, Suzette Thomason and husband Johnny of Allen, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Ruth Holland; his wife, Dyan Holland; one brother, Reggie Holland.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday at Hoyt Cemetery with his brother, Brett Holland speaking. Honorary pallbearers will be Kent, Mark and Brett Holland, Johnny Thomason. Burial will follow under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
