KIRK WAYNE EDWARDS

Kirk Wayne Edwards passed away December 11th, 2025 at Porum, Ok. He was born October 8th, 1961 to his parents Herman and Susan (Angstead) Edwards in Loma Linda, California. He grew up in California and made his home in Eufaula in the late 80's. He married his loving wife Millinda Morris on February 17th, 2013. He began a career as a Boilermaker and in Industrial Construction. He owned a wrecker service for many years. He loved building hot rod cars and trucks as he was a skilled mechanic. He loved cars, kids and coffee. He never met a stranger, and always stop to visit with everyone.

He is survived by his wife Millinda Edwards of the home; his children, Prentis Morris II of the home, Monya Carpenter and husband Jim of Tulsa, James McGuire and wife Katie of Rentiesville, Kristine Fowler and husband Johnny of Lenna, William Edwards and wife Cheyenne of Porum; Grandchildren, Kurstyn, Sophie, Jonathan, Taylynn, Cody; 2 Great Grandchildren, Henry and Madalon; 2 sisters, Sherry Drum and husband Ed of Reno, NV., Julie Edwards and P.K. Lambert of Eufaula; 1 Brother, Glen Edwards of Eufaula. He's preceded in death by his father, Herman Edwards and mother, Susan Kelley; 1 Grandson, Terry (Tra) Abreo.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at the Palestine Church in Quinton with Reverend Bill Fitzer officiating. The Eulogist will be Melvin Gray. Pallbearers will be James McGuire, William Edwards, Prentis Morris II, Jessie Adcock, Kevin Gray, Cody Gray, Carson Gray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Haggard, Prentis Morris, Benny Durrett, Ricky Blocker, Doug Edwards, Tom Bussey. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
