Richard Imes Obituary
Richard began his career in transportation over 50 years ago as a bus driver working for SEPTA, and then for many other motor coach companies throughout the years. He always took pride in his work to provide a smooth and comforting ride and plenty of friendly conversation with many passengers from all around the world. His favorite past time was polishing his cars, especially his Cadillac. He brought a smile and compassion to many people that he met throughout his years. Ask him how he's doing and he'll tell you: "Fine and Dandy". Richard will be missed by all those who knew him. He truly made the world a happier place.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family, Thursday April 13, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). A service to celebrate his life will follow Thursday, 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the family's request.

"Fine and Dandy" was always cheerful, kind, and positive. He was a great coworker; he never complained, and he never spoke negatively about the company or anyone in the company. He was a professional, showing great compassion to both his passengers and fellow employees. When my mother died, he reached out. Shortly after, when my husband died, he extended his hand again and continued to text me with cheerful messages; it meant a great deal. His passing is truly going to be felt by many.
