Richard Lee Kent III

Richard Lee Kent III, commonly known as Richie, passed away on September 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was born on July 21, 1967, and spent his formative years at WW Samuel High School before making Kaufman his home approximately 29 years ago.

Richie was a beloved son to Richard Kent Jr. and Betty Joyce Kent, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brothers, Michael Kent and Dennis Kent, and wife Bobbie; nieces and nephews, Steven Kent and wife Hayley, Justin Kent and wife Savannah, Kyle Kent and wife Kaylee and Dawson Kent; numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Richie had a unique personality that endeared him to many, particularly his love for pets, which reflected his compassionate and nurturing nature. He found great joy in spending time with his family and was an enthusiastic supporter of the family racing team.

A memorial service in honor of Richard will be held at the family home located at 908 Crestview Dr, Kaufman, Texas, on November 16, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many with his kindness and unwavering spirit.
