Richard "Rich" Daniel Kruczek, 68, of 321 Compass Point, Ninety Six, husband of Deborah Lynn Drews, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in New Britain, CT, he was a son of the late Charles Kruczek and Helen P. Kruczek. In his civil engineering career, he was a waste/water consultant, building contractor, and enjoyed software programming. Above all else he loved playing golf and helping around the neighborhood anyway he could. He was a past vice president of the Grand Harbor Homeowners Associations and a member of Congregational Church in Cheshire, CT. Rich loved his family dearly and enjoyed cooking his favorite Polish and Italian dishes. He was truly a man of many talents.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Deborah of the home are his children, Matthew Kruczek (Shannon) and Tabitha Kruczek; sister, Ellen Robillard; five grandchildren, Cameron, Ava, Kassidy, Nora, and Ella; and the Grand Harbor community, who were like family.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
A celebration of life will be held at Grand Harbor at the flag pole on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
