Richard J. "Dick" Krummel, age 65, resident of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Dick was born in Manitowoc, on April 8, 1958, to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Serwe) Krummel. He attended St. Joseph's Catholic School in Kellnersville, and graduated from Reedsville High School with the class of 1976. He then furthered his education at ACME Institute of technology. Dick married Kathy (Kasbaum) Krummel May 10, 1986 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Dick worked for 38 years at Millers Implement as an Engineering CAD Technician. He then worked 4 years at Arien's Company as an Assembly line worker in Plant 1.
Dick found joy in music, skillfully playing the guitar, piano, and organ. His culinary talents shine through in his beloved cranberry relish and signature mai tai pitchers, making holidays and gatherings memorable. Fishing and savoring the changing seasons brought him happiness, along with cherished trips to Door County and up north. A dedicated Packers fan, Dick shared his passion for football with enthusiasm. Summers at Holtwood campground in Oconto were filled with laughter, shared with his wife Kathy, Brother Bob and Cordy Krummel.
Above all, Dick treasured his role as a loving father to Talisha and Ryan, evolving into a proud Grandfather to Amelia. His legacy lives on through the music they played together, the stories he read, and the enduring love he shared with his family.
Dick is survived by his wife: Kathy; two children: daughter and son-in-law: Talisha (Krummel) and Kelly Schultz, and their daughter Amelia, of Hayward; Ryan Krummel of Hayward; two brothers and one sister: Howie and Gloria Krummel of Whitelaw; Bob and Cordy Krummel of Brillion; Nancy (Krummel) and Dave Eichhorst of Morris; brother-in-law: Tim Schmidt of Valders; and one Godson: Ben Eichhorst of West Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Dorothy Krummel, sister Diane Schmidt and nephew Tyler Schmidt.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 12 noon.

Dear Krummel Family,
I am Richard's second cousin, daughter of the late Joan (Krummel) Vogel and granddaughter of Ray & Marie Krummel. I only met Richard a few times, but he was always so friendly & upbeat. I'm so sorry for your loss. God bless you all.
