Obituary
Richard R. Kuczynski, 79, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Joan (Diefenderfer) Kuczynski, with whom he shared over 22 years of loving marriage. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Anthony and Helene (Nesterick) Kuczynski. Richard was a graduate of Loyola College where he earned his Bachelor of Business degree. He honorably served his country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. Richard worked as a supervisor for Lucent for most of his life until retiring. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Joan, he will be remembered by his daughter Michele L. Ruppert and her husband Warren, Jr. of Fountain Hill; step son Mathew L. Stein of CA; brother Gerald J. Kuczynski of FL; grandchildren Shane and Mikayla Ruppert as well as many loving cousins.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. and also on Thursday morning from 10 A.M. until time of the service in the funeral home. Burial with Military honors will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka KS 66675.
