Richard Brian Lapine, 61, entered into rest on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Richard is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Opfer, his children; Linda Herald, Brandy (Ray) Albert, Marcus (Anahea) Opfer, Jennifer (Neal) Smith, Michelle (Jason) Moseley, Richard (Jillian) Lapine Horres, and Sara (Ron) Baughman, grandchildren; Brian Crane, Aliea (Sipriano Marinez) Crane, Tripp Albert, Kalina Albert, Karina Albert, Tristen Steelman, Bristol Opfer, Amber Lapine, Dana Kannaday, Jason Hughes, Kinley Steelman, Brian Horres, Nickolai Horres, Reighlyn Horres, Christian Horres, and Blake Baughman, great grandchildren; baby girl Crane on the way, Ryleigh Martinez, Madilynn Martinez, and Elton Krueger, and siblings; Laura Rabine and Paul Lapine.
Richard was born on March 6, 1963 to Richard Lapine and the late Mary Olney. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Tasha Olney.
Richard was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering, and magnet fishing. His motto was "if it's not broke, it still needs to be fixed". Richard was a carpenter; he's been building things his whole life. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
The Lapine family will honor Richard's life with a private service.
