It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Richard B. Lippard who passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on May 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Born on September 5, 1943, he grew up in Massachusetts before heading off to serve in the US Air Force.
After basic training, he was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver where he met Sharon, the love of his life. They were married in 1966. He served in the Air Force for 4 years before earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Denver in Colorado.
As an avid reader since childhood, Ric took his love for the written word and put his own pen to the page, eventually becoming a published fiction author.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Rhea Lippard and his younger brother, Gerald.
He is survived by his older brother, David, his loving wife, Sharon, his children, Larry, Andre, Julie and Kevin and seven grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Light of the World Catholic Church (10306 West Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO) on May 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon in the church hall before burial at Ft. Logan National Cemetery (4400 West Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO) at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive at the cemetery 15 minutes prior.
