Richard Edward Livingston, Jr., 78, of Eastampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Samaritan Inpatient, Mt. Holly, NJ.
Born in Woodbury, NJ, Richard was a 1964 graduate of Pennsauken Senior High School, where he majored in radio and television production. He went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree and Masters of Education from the School of Communications and Theater Arts at Temple University. Richard joined the faculty at the Holbein Intermediate School in Mt. Holly in 1968. He taught a variety of subjects over the years and also ran the AV department. He retired after 56 years of service to Mount Holly Schools. In appreciation of 56 years of service to the children of the Mount Holly Township Public School, the auditorium was dedicated in his name, now known as the Richard Livingston Auditorium. He also worked at Six Flags running their plays back in the day, and he got the school kids involved in the Double Dare game show on Nickelodeon when it first started.
He is predeceased by his parents Richard E. Livingston, Sr. and Hazel (nee Miller).
There will be a Celebration of Life on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Holbein School Fields starting at 7PM.
