Richard Loebs Obituary

Richard graduated from High School in 1960 and attended South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City, South Dakota graduating in 1964 as a Metallurgical Engineer. He was employed with Caterpiller, Inc for twenty seven years primarily in Joliet, Illinois. He was very civic minded and was a Board member of the Easter Seal Foundation for a number of years.
Richard was a hiking and photography enthusiast. He loved the challenge of climbing the various peaks in Arizona and climbed Mt. Whitney in California several times. Throughout his life he was involved in photography and many friends were recipients of his photo artistry.
A public viewing is scheduled for late afternoon on Sunday, June 12, 2022 between 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Messinger Mortuary on Pinnacle Pk. Rd. in Scottsdale. Gravesite services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to EasterSeals at 212 Barney Dr., Joliet, Illinois 60435.

Janet - I recently became aware of Dick's passing. As a member of the Board of Easterseals Joliet Region, Dick was instrumental in the refinement of Easterseals business practices.
