Richard "Dick" A. Lundstedt left this life on June 25, 2025, at the age of 92. He was born December 24, 1932, to Clarence Lundstedt and Grace Meyer in Cleveland, Ohio. He joined the Army in 1952, where he served for two years. Upon honorable discharge, he soon met Joanne, and they married October 17, 1956. He worked as an electrician with IBEW Local 38, retiring in 1994.
An avid gardener, Dick tended to his garden beds and flower pots with meticulous care. He kept in shape with yard work, outdoor activities, and lots of walking. After retirement, he continued to stay up on electrical codes to help family and friends with their projects and remained active in the union, regularly attending Local 38 retiree events. His smile brought joy to all who saw it, and he could make a friend anywhere he went. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and playing games with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Grace; son, Peter Lundstedt; and daughter, Jenny Lundstedt.
He is survived by Joanne, his loving wife of 69 years; sister, Martha Vartarella; brother, Mike (Cheryl) Meyer; son, Paul Lundstedt; daughter, Judy (Ken) Bowman; granddaughters, Heather (Pablo) Villa and Katie (Ryan) Montoya; and great-granddaughter, Evelyn Villa.
