The J. F. Floyd Mortuary - North Church Street Chapel - SpartanburgSandra Ann Semanchik Lundstedt, 80, of Spartanburg, died Monday, October 6, 2025, at White Oak Estates. A native of Bridgeport, CT., she was born on January 28, 1945, a daughter of the late George and Anne Tarasovic Semanchik. She was the widow of Karl Robert Lundstedt and previously married to the late Edward Layton.
She was retired assistant vice president of operations with Smith Barney Shearson in Westport, CT, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and loved knitting and her family.
Surviving are her children; Lisa Wright (Gary) of Gaffney and Scott Skuches (Kristin) of Milford, CT.; step sons, Robert Lundstedt, Jr., Richard Lundstedt (Linda) and Weir Lundstedt; step daughter, Heather Barclay (Bill); grandchildren, Darren Skuches (Briana), Gary Wright, III (Amanda), Justin Wright, Ethan Skuches, Joshua Wright, Alyssa Cooper (Jackson); step grandchildren, Dylan Barclay, Shawn Barclay and Tiffany Johnsten, and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Kevin Skuches and a stepdaughter, Susan Elizabeth Lundstedt.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 309 Fernwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Dale Rawlings. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
