Born September 24, 1957 in Wilkinsburg, PA, he was the son of Richard J. Madden (May) and Arlene (Reid) Mentzer (Jim). Rick was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother.
In addition to his parents, Rick is survived by his Daughter, Leah Jane Madden of Carrick, PA three grandchildren, Ella Madden, Emmett Ross-Brandau and Elias Madden; two brothers Stephen M. Madden (Mary), Plum Borough, PA and David R. Madden (Maria), Fallston, MD, and several nephews, nieces, and many cousins.
Rick worked at Alpha Aromatics for 32 years in Fox Chapel, PA as a Fragrance Analyst. He was an avid sports fan and LOVED his Steelers and Penguins!
Rick will privately be laid to rest at Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
