Obituary published on Legacy.com by Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory - Souderton on Feb. 16, 2026.
Richard "Dick" Adolph Manini, 92, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, formerly of Lehighton, Harleysville, and Feasterville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center.

He was the loving husband of the late Joyce Ann (Stvrtecky) Manini, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Dick was the son of the late Adolph Manini and the late Annabelle (Newvillis) Manini.

Dick was a high school graduate and proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he also played baseball. His love of the game extended beyond his military service; in 1952, he played third base for the Roanoke Rapids Jays minor league baseball team. He later worked as a bricklayer for his father's masonry business, Boyd & Manini, in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.

Throughout his life, Dick was a dedicated and hardworking businessman. Alongside his wife, Joyce, he co-owned several businesses, including the former Mom's Pizza in Lansdale, as well as various restaurants and the Manini's Pizza restaurants throughout Lansdale, Philadelphia, Willow Grove, and Harleysville. Together, they also co-owned the former Feldi's Health Food Store in Souderton.

Dick enjoyed fishing, playing golf, listening to Southern Gospel music, and sharing stories filled with humor and heart. Strong-willed and full of life, he never missed an opportunity to tell a good story and faithfully shared his love for the Lord with everyone he met.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Margaret "Marge" S. Campbell of East Greenville, Pennsylvania, and Linda Manini of Bensalem, Pennsylvania; his brother-in-law, Jeffery Stvrtecky of Tacoma, Washington; many nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Dick was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph Manini, Antoinette "Toni" Peterson, and David Manini.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00 am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940.

Inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his late wife, Joyce.
