Richard Marshik Obituary
Richard John Marshik born on February 2nd, 1939 in Buckman, MN, died on February 23rd, 2024 at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls, MN.
Raised on a dairy farm alongside his three sisters. Dick attended Pierz Memorial High School and graduated from St. John's University in 1961.
After college, Dick spent 4 years in the US Army in the Signal Corps. After the service, Dick went to work for St. Paul Fire and Marine, beginning a long career in the insurance business. It was in St. Paul that Dick met Patricia O'Brien. They were married in 1966 and moved to Little Falls, where they made their home and opened the Marshik Insurance Agency. Dick had several interests and hobbies. He loved to hunt and fish with friends, he and Pat traveled the world together and he always loved watching his grandkids play sports.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Cecilia Marshik, his sisters, Marion, Geraldine & Grace and his daughter Stephanie.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Ann (Charlie), Cathy (Chris) son-in-law Mark and grandchildren Franklin & Henry Wolfe, Abby, Lucy & Teddy Manlove and Sam Decker. As well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life to come at a later date.
