RICHARD MAYNARD

Richard Maynard 78, of Avon, entered into rest Tuesday December 30, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family from complications of Parkinson's Disease. He graduated from Wayne High School in Wayne, WV. and was drafted into U.S. Army and served in an Infantry division. Rich was employed by MTD (Modern, Tool & Die/Shiloh Industries) and retired with over 40 years of service. Richard enjoyed riding his ATV in the hills of West Virginia with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Judy (nee-Fleming) Maynard, 2 children; Lori (Jason) Duesler and Richard J. Maynard, 2 grandchildren; Gage & Morgan, 3 brothers; Jack (Linda) Maynard, Walter (Lynne) Maynard and E.J. (Bonnie) Maynard. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Carrie (nee-Hundley)Maynard, siblings Robert, James F., Opal Glynn & Louise Maynard and special fur baby ChloeRose.
Richard's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered in places that were special to him.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be in Dunlow, West Virginia in the spring. MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME in Avon is handling all arrangements.
