Richard W. Mayo-also fondly known as "Rick", age 71, passed away unexpectedly and very suddenly at his home in Candia, NH. He was born July 29, 1953 in Newton, MA, son of James Mayo and the late Maralyn (Walton) Mayo.
Rick grew up in Needham, MA and was one of two children in his family. He was a graduate of Needham High School in Needham, MA. Rick spent many years working and taking care of his grandmother in New Hampshire. It was there that he met his wife Rose. Richard joined the Lions Club in 1982. Rick had been a longtime resident in Candia for the past 27 years and formerly resided in Chester, NH. His hobbies included going on the computer and bird watching. He also liked collecting model cars and enjoyed in his younger years raising Siberian Huskies.
In addition to his mother, Rick was predeceased by his sister, Virginia Hamel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rose (Adams) Mayo, step-daughter, Marjorie Chase, father, James Mayo, and brother-in-law, Michael Hamel.
