Ronald D. Bastien, 78, of Exeter, New Hampshire, passed away on October 2, 2025 after a long illness. He was born on July 9, 1947, in Amesbury, Massachusetts, the son of the late Arthur G. Bastien and Doris B. (Porter) Bastien.
Ronald was one of four children and grew up in Amesbury, MA. He first met his wife, Diane Houde, in 1974 at the beach. The two reconnected on December 31, 1996, and later married on September 14, 1998. Together, they made their home in Exeter, New Hampshire.
Ronald is survived by the love of his life, Diane, as well as several nieces and nephews on both sides and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Bastien, sister, Jean Stefan, brother, James Bastien, brother-in-law, Marcel Houde, sisters-in-law, Madeleine Houde and Marielle Houde.
His interment will be in Quebec, Canada.
