Wesley E. Stanton

Wesley Edward Stanton, 82, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH, after a long battle with Dementia. He was born on November 19, 1942, in Brentwood, NH, son of the late Ralph Stanton and Lela (Deselle) Stanton.
Wesley was an only child and grew up in Epping, NH, where he lived until 1993. Raised on the family farm, he left high school to help with farming and went on to work in several local shoe shops and factories, including National Shoe in Epping, shops in Haverhill, MA, Newmarket, and Nike in Exeter. Later in life, he retired after 20 years from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. Since 1993, he had resided in Merrimack and then lived in Raymond for the past 25 years.
Throughout his life, Wesley was known for his easygoing spirit. He helped raise his two daughters while teaching them how to ride a bicycle, ice skate, roller skate, swim, fish, play basketball, plant and maintain vegetable gardens and camp. Wes also enjoyed woodworking for many years in his woodworking shop/garage in Epping. Although, his love of music always kept him happy along with country dancing, line dancing and ballroom dancing, including dancing at Hampton Beach every Summer for many years. He was someone who truly enjoyed life, often sharing a smile with those around him. Although, his happiest moments were spending time with his family, especially his Granddaughters.
He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Aloi and her husband Fred of Atkinson, and Christine Stanton of Concord; and two granddaughters, Brianna Aloi and Emily Aloi.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Epping, NH. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth, NH.
