Richard Vincent Moore

Richard Vincent Moore, 95, of La Plata, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 14, 1929 in Washington, DC, Richard served in the U. S. Army. He later worked for the American Trucking Association for several years before his retirement. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Richard is survived by his wife of over 75 years, Mary K. Moore; children Richard and his wife Drema, Michael and his wife Annette, Katie and her husband Mike; grandchildren Brian and his wife Lilly, Jason and his wife Abby, Kristen and her husband Mike, Krystle and her husband Bobby, Christopher, Alexander, Aaron, Mikey, and Robbie; great grandchildren Kayla, Kamryn, Jason, Bryson, Taylor, Chase, Hayden, Harper, Livy, Benjamin, Joshua, Jaxsyn, James, David, Rachel, Emma, Levi, Addie, and Owen; his favorite grand dog, Gilbert. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to Alzheimer's Association, P. O.
