Richard Walter Neumann

Richard Walter Neumann, 66, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 3, 2024. Beloved husband of 39 years to Karen (nee Rinella); Loving father of Michael, Daniel (Mallory) and Calli; Cherished grandfather of Lincoln and Lucas; Son of the late Richard and Ann Marie; Brother of Jeff (Chris), Randy (Peggy) and Jimmy (Cindy); Lifelong friend of John Beatty and Nick Cupkovic; Uncle, cousin and friend to many. Richard was a hard-working family man that loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He began work at Cleveland Cliffs (Formerly Republic Steel) in 1978 and worked the next 46 years to a Senior Crane Operator position where he was a proud member of the Local USW 979 and was looking forward to his retirement. When Richard wasn't working, he was involved with coaching his sons baseball teams, playing pool, working out in the elements and riding his vintage bicycle.
