It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul William Stone, Jr. at the age of 82, who left us on 8/20/2025 while living at The Hudson Grande Senior Living facility. He was born on September 2, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to Paul and Margaret (Brack) Stone. Paul attended Solon High School and graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Paul held various sales and managerial roles throughout his professional career in the field of computer hardware & software.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, touching the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering generosity. He took great pleasure in trap shooting, hunting and playing euchre, valuing the connection and camaraderie they fostered. Above all, he had a deep love for his dogs, who brought him endless joy and companionship.

Paul served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967, earning the rank of Captain. His time in the service was an important chapter in his life, and he carried the values of responsibility and commitment with him throughout the years.

Paul leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Joan (Aksamit); his son, Troy (Erin); his daughter (Vicki (Tracy); his brother John and niece Chelsea.

A celebration of life will be held privately with family and friends at a later date to share memories, and honor his life.

In honor of Paul William Stone, Jr's memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Alzheimer's Association ' Alzheimer's Disease & Dementia Help www.alz.org. Your support will help provide global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

A special thanks goes out to the staff of Hudson Grande and Traditions Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Paul's final days.
