Ralph H. Paris

Ralph H. Paris, age 78 of Parma, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Nancy (nee Sourwine) for 50 years; loving father of Stephen, Renee (Kristopher Sutton), and Amanda (Mitchell Watkins); dear brother of Michael (Carol), Raymond (Cathy), and Walter (June); cousin, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Rose Marie (nee Josefczyk) and his brother, Robert (Fayne).

Ralph was a proud, selfless U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam who enlisted to spare his brothers from being drafted. He loved trains, guns, fishing, hunting, and relaxing on the family property in Pennsylvania. Ralph was an honest, hardworking man who was quiet and humble, ensuring his family was well cared for at all times.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Dementia Society of America at dementiasociety.org.

A memorial service will be held for Ralph at 7pm on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129. Family will receive friends from 5pm until the start of the service at the funeral home.
