Nordstrom, Richard "Rick" – of Clio, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Monday, July 29, 2024, at O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Rick was born October 14, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, to Richard and Nancy (Miles) Nordstrom. He was a proud graduate of Clio High School, class of 1983. He held a deep-rooted faith as a devoted member of SS Charles & Helena Catholic Church. With a passion for genealogy, he spent countless hours tracing his family roots and building intricate ancestry trees. A true sports enthusiast, Rick's heart belonged to the Detroit Tigers, and he could often be found cheering them on with unwavering loyalty. His love for Irish music filled his home with joy, but nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his nephew and best friend, Cameron. Rick was an esteemed alum of Aquinas College, where he honed his knowledge and skills. His warm spirit, kind heart, and infectious laughter touched the lives of all who knew him. Rick will be remembered as a devoted son, a caring brother, a fun-loving uncle, and a loyal friend.
Surviving are: Mother, Nancy Nordstrom; Sister, Sheri (Cary) Richardson; Nephew, Cameron Richardson; Great Niece, Renley; Special Friends: Jeanelle, Jerry, Zim, Marty, Leanne, Dan, and Cherie along with the entire Friday night group. Those memories were invaluable to him. He was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Nordstrom. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
