Richard Paduano Obituary

Passes at 90
Longtime Livingston resident Richard A Paduano passed peacefully on June 24, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was 90 years old. Richie lived in the township for nearly 25 years, after moving there from Irvington, NJ in 1999.
Richie was born in Newark, NJ on October 25, 1933, the youngest of four children born to Francesco and Margaret Paduano. After high school he served in the United States Army from 1956 through 1962 as a radio technician.
Upon completion of his military service, Richie would go on to become a master electrician and would remain in that line of work until his retirement.
Time spent with family was Richie's passion. A particular joy for him was when the entire family would get together each Thursday night for a traditional Italian meal. His family would always remain at the center of his life and Richie was able to care for his aging mother until her passing in 2002. Always interested in trying new things, Richie also enjoyed skiing and golf in his later years.
Richie was predeceased by his parents and three siblings, Frederic Paduano, Ernest Paduano and Adeline Biancone. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Maria Biancone, Gregory Biancone, and Frederic Paduano Jr.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Roseland, NJ on June 29, 2024, at 10:30 AM, with a traditional burial ceremony to follow at Gate of Heaven cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
Donations can be made in his memory to East Coast Canine Rescue, either through traditional mail at the following address, or via their website.
