Richard Paul Caron, age 82, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025. He was born on December 27, 1942, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and lived a life marked by service, integrity, and dedication to family and community.

Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965, where he was honorably discharged following four years of faithful service to his country. After his military career, he continued his commitment to public service as a police officer in Hartford, Connecticut, serving from 1968 to 1979.

In 1979, Richard relocated to Ashland, Maine, where he lived several years before settling in Port Isabel, Texas, in 1983. There, he left a lasting legacy by constructing the Oyster Cove condominiums, contributing to the growth and development of the local community.

Richard will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a hardworking man who valued honesty and kindness.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rae Caron; his daughter, Lynn Bowling of Kentucky; his granddaughter, Emma Bowling; his great-grandson, Jeremiah Bowling; and his brother, Nelson Caron of Southwick, Massachusetts.
