Richard spent his career as a maintenance man for many different apartment communities around the KC Metro area. His hobbies included fishing, watching Westerns and the game show Catch 21. He attended Kearney First Baptist Church in Kearney, MO.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Wanda Perkins; parents, Fred & Lula Perkins; son, Richard Perkins Jr.; brother, Billy Perkins; brother, Gary Perkins; grandson, Eric Perkins. Survivors include his son, Chris (Kim) Perkins of the home, daughters, Sandra Brower of Independence, MO, Debbie Walling of Independence, MO, Sherry Mathis of Omaha, NE, Billie (Gene) Redden of Independence, MO, and Robyn (Nick) German of Belton, MO; sister, Carol Perkins of Independence, MO; 18 Grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Richard will be deeply missed. Gone but not forgotten.
