Richard F. Perse, 79 of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. Rich was born November 22, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to F. James and Cecelia Perse.

Rich went to Cudahy High School and graduated in 1963. He went on to earn a Master's Degree in Business at the University of Wisconsin. Rich worked in the electronic component industry for over 50 years, where he was well loved by everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and attending his grandchildren's baseball and softball games. His favorite hobbies over the years included golf, chess, Texas hold'em, and collecting baseball cards. Rich loved all Wisconsin sports and was quite possibly the biggest fan of the Green Bay Packers. He once won first place in a commercial contest held by the Packers. His commercial was shown on the jumbotron during a Packer game where he and his family were awarded seats in the nice warm corporate suites!

Rich will be missed by his wife of 53 years, Linda Perse; his children: Nicole Jensen (David) and Justin Perse (Rebecca); his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Alice Bergles and brother Jim Perse. He was preceded in death by his parents, F. James Perse and Cecelia Perse, and his brothers, Roland Perse and Ronald Perse.

The family will be having a small, intimate celebration of life to honor Rich. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who have reached out to extend their condolences, thoughts, and prayers.
