Richard E. Pezza

Richard E. Pezza, (62), of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2023 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.
Richard was born on December 20, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a Solutions Architect for Presidio IT Services & Solutions in New York, NY.
Richard, fondly known as Richie, left us far too soon. He was born to Andrew and Carmen Pezza, on December 20, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York.
Richard held many titles in his life, but his proudest role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his adult children, whether he was supporting their aspirations of pursuing music or cheering them on as they grew in their professional careers. He was their number one fan, always offering love, support, encouragement and words of wisdom.
Richard is survived by his two children, Brett and Nicolette. He is also survived by his mother Carmen and brother Lawrence, along with his nephew Andrew and niece Manda. Richard was predeceased by his father, Andrew.
Aside for his unconditional love for his children, Richie was passionate about cooking, always trying new recipes and making gourmet meals for family and friends. He was an artist, a musician and a positive light in every room with a contagious smile and infectious, life-of-the-party personality. Richard has forever impacted our lives, and he will truly be missed.
Visiting will be Friday, March 17th from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 AM at St. Luke's RC Church, 1674 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River. Entombment will follow to Ocean County Memorial Park.
