Richard D. Piurowski, age 78, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Albany Medical Center. Richard was born on July 6, 1944, in Scotia, NY and was the son of the late Richard and Irene (Russell) Piurowski.
Richard worked as a crane operator for G.E., as well as owning various restaurants in his life and being a cook for years. He also served in the U.S. Army. Richard was a member of the American Legion in East Durham, NY.
Richard is survived by his partner Caroline Furey; and his children Marc, Annastasia, Richard Jr., Holly M. Kozubal, and Michelle.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brother Rodney Piurowski.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Clifton Park Village Cemetery, Clifton Park, NY.
