Richard Polcyn Obituary
Richard was born July 27, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was the son of Peter R. and Carol (Sieger) Polcyn. On July 7, 1956, he married Margaret Springsteen, and she preceded him in death on August 19, 2020. He was a United States Army Veteran serving for three years during the Korean conflict. Richard was a Greek and Hebrew Scholar of Biblical Manuscripts. He loved the Bible and spent a life of service to his Savior. Richard enjoyed traveling and visiting with people. He was loved by many.
He is survived by his children Richard (Deb) Polcyn Jr. of Texas, Nancy (Anthony) Birnbaum of Texas, Mary Price of Texas, Tim (Pamela) Polcyn of Texas, Matt Polcyn of Millersburg, James (Heidi) Polcyn of South Carolina, Christian Polcyn of Massillon, Esther Polcyn of New Philadelphia; 36 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He joined his wife Margaret and son Robbie Polcyn with the Lord in Heaven, also preceding him in death his sister Prudy Pufahl.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church, Seguin, Texas. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Private internment will be held at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 736, Seguin, Texas, 78155.

Raymond and Ruth Ann Miller have sweet memories way back in 1980´s. My condolences. We had attended Margaret funeral. Still miss her.

My condolences to you all my memories go back 1984 Dick and Margaret family took us with them to church, snowy and had a flat tire on the way. Dicks intelligence had a great impact on Raymond Miller (now in heaven) his kindness, integrity, knowledge of the Bible, and lived it. Dick had special part in our wedding, October 26,1985. He was an enjoyable person! Precious memories of Dick and Margaret and the family! He will be missed. Love you all! Prayers! Ruth Ann Nissley
