He was born November 26, 1944, in Mastic, New York the son of the late Joseph Provost and Doris Wessel Provost. Richard worked many years as a plumber and electrician for Grumman Aerospace. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3153 in New Port Richey and also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Bayonet Point. Richard's favorite past time was going fishing with his loving wife Vivian.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Robert Provost.
Survivors include his wife: Vivian Provost; his daughter: Patricia (Tom) Conway and their children Nolan and Kiera; his son: Patrick (Tia) Trotta and their children Jonathan and Kalei; his sister: Delores (Butch) Roth and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Grace Memorial Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral Home.
