Richard "Bubba" Revere passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was born in Hammond, LA on December 31, 1951.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Ricanne Revere; his children, Catherine Revere Walker (Christopher), Elizabeth Revere Blanton (Kenneth) and Shelly Strunc (Matthew); his grandchildren, Carly, Carson, Dustin (Heather), Megan (Will), Frances (Joey), Carter and Cason; great-grandchildren, Ava and Ella; and step-son, Brandon Cannon (Kyla). He is also survived by his sister, Marlene Hayno; brother-in-law, Walter Miller; sister-in-law, Lisa Revere; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ann Elizabeth Morse Revere and Richard Revere; and siblings, Mark Revere, Dondra Miller and Barbara Miller.
Mr. Revere was a native and lifelong resident of Madisonville. Bubba was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was an avid horseman and hog hunter. He was known strong work ethic. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St., Madisonville, LA 70447 on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Theodore Cemetery.
