Richard James Reynolds

Richard James Reynolds, born on June 25, 1955, in Brawley, California, passed away on December 14, 2024, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was the cherished son of James D. Reynolds and Lavada Bell (Garrett) Reynolds. Professionally, Richard was known as a skilled cook. His passion for cooking extended beyond his work, it was a way he shared his love with others. He enjoyed advising his daughter on meals and loved it when she sought his guidance in the kitchen. His advice and recipes will remain a treasured legacy.
Richard's love for his family was unwavering, his family was the cornerstone of his life. He always made sure they felt supported, loved, and uplifted. Known for his sense of humor and ability to bring a smile to any situation, he was the heart of his family, a source of joy and encouragement. The day he met his daughter was a turning point in his life, filling him with purpose and teaching her lessons of resilience and perseverance that she will carry forward. Richard's memory will be forever cherished by his family and friends, who will always remember his kindness, his laughter, and the deep pride he had in those he loved.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, James and Lavada Reynolds.
Those he leaves to cherish his memories are his daughter Annie Hendrick and husband Jeremy; sister, Conni Krebbs and husband Rick; grandchildren, Dylan Reynolds and Jacob Hendrick; and a host of other family and friends who will deeply miss him.
No services are scheduled at this time, a memorial service will be held at a later date and will be published once a date is scheduled.
