Richard W. "Dick" Robichaud, age 77, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was born December 15, 1946 in Memphis, TN to the late Edwin J. and Elizabeth G. (Morris) Robichaud.
Dick proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1971 having attained the rank of Sergeant (E-5). He began working for Hercules, Inc. in 1967 and enjoyed a successful career spanning 31 years.
Dick was an active member of Delaware Veterans Post #1 (DelVets) and the Transportation Club of Wilmington. In his free time Dick enjoyed his beach house in Gull Point, fishing, playing golf and watching his favorite Philadelphia sports teams. Most especially, Dick will be remembered for how he enjoyed and cherished all the time he was able to spend with his family throughout the years.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Karen M. (Williams) Robichaud; sons Richard C. Robichaud and his wife Colleen of Wilmington, DE and David E. Robichaud and his wife Carrie of Breckenridge, CO; step-son Jonathan W. Tos and his wife Amber of Wilmington, DE; step-daughter Kathryn M. Davolos and her husband Paul of Fair Hill, MD; grandchildren John Robichaud, Dylan Robichaud and his wife Fallon and Calley Robichaud; great-grandson Lincoln Robichaud and step-grandchildren Leah Davolos, Joseph Davolos, Mia Tos, Max Tos, Matteo Tos and Milo Tos. Dick is also survived by his brother Edward M. Robichaud and his wife Barbara of Camden/Wyoming, DE; nephew Max Robichaud and his wife Pamela and niece Devon Lister and her husband Jeremy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at St. John the Beloved Roman Catholic Church, 907 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. Family and friends are invited to visit the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808 on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5:00PM – 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 630 Churchmans Road, Suite200, Newark, DE 19702 or visit www.delawarehospice.org.

Richie was a friend from High School and in later years played golf with my husband. He wrote me a beautiful letter when my husband passed away which I still have and cherish.
