Richard Lamar Rominger

Richard Lamar Rominger, 81, of Ringgold, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. Richard was born November 23, 1943 in Chattanooga to the late Jessie and Velma Rominger. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia community and attended Oakwood Baptist Church and McFarland United Methodist Church. Richard was an avid Tennessee Vol fan, he loved fishing, and he especially enjoyed bragging on his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Mary Rominger and grandson Cody Rominger.

Survivors are his sons Chip (Kenna) Rominger, Ringgold, and Tracy (Toni) Rominger, Rossville, sister Elizabeth Boyd, East Ridge, and grandchildren Tori Rominger, Nick Weathers, Cole Rominger, and Luke Rominger.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Terry Burns officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project (WWP).

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday and 12-1 PM Tuesday.
