Richard "Richie" Joseph Rousseau Sr. (Dec. 11, 1944-July 16, 2024) was a beloved husband, father, grandfather (papa) and friend. Richie was very hardworking, he always wanted to make sure his family was well taken care of. He had a great sense of humor and was never shy about cracking a joke. Richie enjoyed the days when he could hop on his gold wing motorcycle. Whether he was riding around town or riding through the state. Richie was the son of Edgar and Eva (Trahan) Rousseau, he was one of five children. He was born and raised in Hartford, while there he met the love of his life
June. Richie and June were a match made in heaven. He truly missed her and now they are together again, soul mates. Richie leaves a son Richard (Jay) Rousseau and a grandson Brandon, who he was extremely proud of. Also, a daughter Roxsan Voyer and her fiancé Stephen Steady, and a granddaughter Eva who held a special place in his heart. He also leaves his faithful companions, Zeus and Hera. They never left his side. A gathering at Cedar Hill Cemetery at the Hillside Mausoleum at 11:00am Saturday July 27, 2024. Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
