Richard Joseph Scheuermann Sr.

Richard Joseph Scheuermann Sr. was born on June 26, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert and Myrtle Scheuermann. Richard, who resided in Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Richard was the beloved husband of the late Ailene Scheuermann. Loving father of Richard (Rachel Rene) Scheuermann Jr and the late Pamela Tomlinson. Dear brother of Robert (Kathy) Scheuermann and Lois Paszek. Dearest grandfather of Christie and Cary. Loving great-grandfather of Brooklynn and Kaylee. Richard was preceded in death by his parents as well as by his siblings Raul, Shirley, Ilene, Beverly, and June. Richard will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation Friday, December 19, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300.
