Sandra Kay Sopo, was born on February 9, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Ohanes and Susan Mikaelian. Sandra, who resided In Ecorse, Michigan, passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 79. Sandra is the beloved wife of the late Louis Sopo. Loving mother of Charlotte Sopo, the late Louis Sopo Jr., and the late Kelly Sopo. Dear sister of Shirley (Steve) Kovacs, Juanita (Donald) Dugas, Nick (the late Judith) Mikaelian, the late Norman (the late Carol) Mikaelian, the late John (the late Sharon) Mikaelian, and the late Mike Mikaelian. Dearest grandmother of Laraine (Joaquin), Cinda (Robert), Louis III (Samantha), Brendan, Sarah (Scot), Melissa (Kendall), Robert Jr (Alesha), Sandra (Westley), Madison, Dominique (Alec), Dalilah (Adam), Davison, and Shelby (Miami). Loving great-grandmother of Anayella, Francisco, Eduardo, Eliza, Robert, Leah, Ella, Mackenzie, Jordan, Kylie, Kennedy, Robert III, Louis IV, Norah, Ronan, Wren, Isabella, Ibrahim and Willow, Whiley and Waylon. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

No formal services will be held at the funeral home. Arrangements and Cremation entrusted to the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300.
