Dick Schlee peacefully passed into eternal life on January 16, 2025.Dick was born August 4, 1942, to Jeanette R. (nee Greulich) and Leroy CW Schlee.
Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and traveling. He was proud of being active with the boy scouts as well as being a hunter safety instructor. Dick was a Grand Knight of 3rd Degree Knights of Colombus, at St Killian's Parish. Dick was in sales for most of his career. He was a long-time firefighter for the City of Hartford. He loved spending time at Grindle lake in Crivitz, WI.
Dick was united in marriage to Gloria (nee Kreuser) on June 5, 1965, at St Boniface Church.
Dick is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; children David (Robin), and Carrie (Jen); Cherished grandchildren, Mia, Ella, and Lola, and Sister, Janet ( nee Schlee ) Kapelke.
He is preceded in death by his parents and other family members.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions to St Killian Parish endowment fund and ADRC (Aging and Disability Resource Center) of Washington County.
Mass of Christian Burial for Dick wild be held on Wednesday, January 22,2025, at St Kilians Church (264 W. State St. Hartford, WI. 53027) Family will greet friends and relatives from 9:00 a.m. until the start of mass at 11:00 a.m.
Private interment will immediately follow.
