Richard K. Shaffer
Passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the age of 69. Best friend and loving husband of Louise Gonzalez for 45 years. Beloved son of the late Florence and Kenneth Shaffer. Rick will be greatly missed by his twin sister Sharon (Stan) Bullock, sisters Suzanne Sass, Sandra (Jerry) LeClaire and niece Tiffany Pronath, other family members and friends.
Rick was a 25 year employee of US Bank. He enjoyed remodeling and had a great love for cats, history, the Packers and music, with a vinyl collection of almost 1000 records.
Special thanks to St. Luke's ICU and Cardiac ICU.
He fought a hard fight, but it wasn't to be.
Richard will remain forever in our hearts.
Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Friday, August 15 from 1 - 3 PM. Funeral Service at 3 PM. Entombment will take place on Monday, August 18 at 2 PM at Forest Home Cemetery (please meet at cemetery office).
