Connie Jean Shaffer

Connie Jean Shaffer, age 85, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025.

Born September 20, 1939, in Meyersdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Gladys (Swermann) Critchfield.

Connie was a devoted member of Hope Lutheran Church, where she attended classes and luncheons, worked on the bulletin and newsletter, as well as tidied up around the church. Connie was a swimmer and loved taking walks. She also gardened and was an excellent cook. She was very skilled at crocheting and making blankets. Connie was an avid reader and loved to go shopping. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Cindy Lou Milligan of Cranberry Twp., and Tracy D. Donatelli, and her fiancé, Raymond Zupanek, Jr., of New Sewickley Twp.; her grandchildren, Nathan Milligan, Craig Milligan, Christopher Thiel, and Dalton James Zupanek; her great-grandchildren, Rylee and Ryder; her brothers, Richard Critchfield of Mt. Davis, PA, and Paul Critchfield of Salisbury, PA; and her nieces and nephews, Ryan, Larissa, Joy, Pam, and Ann.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert T. Shaffer, who passed away in 2018.

A friends and family gathering will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Inc., 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Rd, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066, with Pastor Ronald Brown, officiating. (Everyone please meet at church).
