Richard "Rick" Slack, 74, went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2025. He was born on July 1, 1951 in Madison, Indiana to Norma Lee and Harry Slack. Rick was a truck driver by trade, loved NASCAR racing, University of Tennessee Vols Football, a cold MGD, spending time in the mountains and with his family, especially his grandchildren. Rick was always under the hood of something, as he loved working on engines and tinkering with cars. In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Slack. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Donna Slack of Sweetwater; daughter Lacy (Jason) Harness; son Ricky (Jennifer) Slack; grandchildren Addison, Emma, Harper and Owen; sisters Sharon Collins, Vicky (Pete) Young and Jill (Rick) Bradley; sister-in-law Edie Slack. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.
