Richard B. Smith, age 96, passed away on October 1, 2025. He was born in Canton, Ohio and was a long-time resident of Northfield, Ohio. Richard graduated from Case University and worked as a metallurgist. He was a member of the Case Western Reserve Athletic Association and enjoyed playing golf, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his wife Rosanne; children Rand Smith, Lynn Dorsey (John), and Tracy Lorraine Smith (David MacLennan); grandchildren Rachel Gorombey (Jon) and Garrett Dorsey; and great-grandson Carson Christopher Gorombey.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday October 15, 2025 from 11am-12 Noon at The United Methodist Church of Macedonia, 1280 East Aurora Road, Macedonia OH 44056, where Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon.
