Richard Stacey

Richard David Stacey was born on May 30, 1972, son of Margaret (Stacey) Mohr in Omaha, Nebraska. Richard attended school in Manning, Iowa and graduated from Manning High School with the class of 1990.

Richard worked within IT before joining Frito Lay where he spent the remainder of his time delivering products to stores. He moved to Michigan in the Summer of 2012 where he continued his work for Frito Lay.

Richard enjoyed golfing, bowling and online gaming along with cheering on his Iowa State Cyclones and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also loved spending time with friends and family and had a great love for his dog Ripley.

Richard passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at McLaren Port Huron Hospital in Port Huron, Michigan at the age of 51 years and 18 days.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Mohr.

He is survived by his father, Calvin Mohr Jr. of Manning; sister, Virginia Wanser of Irwin; brother, Fred Stacey of Parker, Colorado; and whom he considered his children: Sarah Litke of Metamora, Michigan and Cameron Litke of Kimball Township, Michigan; and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life was held from 2: to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.
